Deanna LeipHart is a self taught painter, originally from Pennsylvania, now living in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Before moving to the West Coast, I lived primarily in New York City, resident of the East Village and Brooklyn Heights/Dumbo. I've also made my home in Europe, as well as U.S. cities from Key West to Anchorage.

"Painting is how I process the complexity of emotions that comprise my experience of Life. The people I meet, and places I visit, all take part in the stories that are recreated on the canvas..... a snapshot of events that took place in a single moment, overlapping, and becoming a separate entity of itself." 

My paintings have happily been collected by art lovers throughout Europe, the U.S., and Haiti. I've worked for theater and opera companies painting sets, murals, and props; and have performed on stage, in feature films, and television.
